Co-hosted with UNDRR and PeriPeri U, it’s all about bridging science, tech, and policy to build a resilient Africa under the theme: “Strengthening Science, Technology & Innovation for the Sendai Framework.”

As climate disasters rise, Af-STAG—our 15-expert powerhouse—is turning knowledge into action: for risk mapping, early warnings, nature-based solutions, and indigenous wisdom , Led by Dr. Eltson , and with the commendable efforts of Prof. Alice and all participating colleagues, we would also like to specifically mention colleagues from the Disaster Risk Reduction Unit of the African Union Commission and UNDRR and Mr. Ension from PeriPeri U, the strategic partner of Af-STAG DRR.
