Within the framework of the work within the Network Management Committee (NMC) of the African Network of Centres of Excellence for Disaster Risk Reduction (NoE) , Led by AUC

African Science and Technology Advisory Group (AfSTAG) on DRR participating in the Establishment of the Africa network of centers of excellence for disaster risk reduction (28-29 August 2024, Kigali-Rwanda).
The aim of this workshop is to bring together African scientists, academic and research institutions, African member states in a network for knowledge sharing, collaborative research amongst others in a bid to contribute effectively to disaster risk reduction in Africa. This #AfricanUnion led initiative with support from partners #EuropeanUnion is a step forward in achieving the 2063 agenda of the Africa we want.
It equally aims to deliver service customized tools, innovative African solutions to African problems and act as a strong platform for continues collaboration among African institutions in achieving sustainable development through Effective disaster risk reduction.
